Ukraine and NATO launched the Persistent Airfield Denial innovation challenge to find solutions for long-term restriction of enemy airfield infrastructure and aircraft use. The contest seeks autonomous or operator-guided systems capable of striking aircraft, runways, fuel and ammunition storage, and ground support infrastructure. The prize fund is up to €250,000, with proposals due by July 20.
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said partners announced $4 billion in new Ukraine aid at the 35th Ramstein meeting. The package includes nearly $1 billion for PURL, $540 million for extended-range artillery ammunition and more than $1 billion for Ukrainian drones.
