FPV operators from the Northern Eagle unit of Ukraine’s 151st Separate Mechanized Brigade destroyed a Russian T-90M tank in Kharkiv region.
Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat said Russian forces have been arming strategic bombers in recent days, while monitors warn a mass attack may come within 24-72 hours. The strike could be stretched over 2-3 days, as Russia has done before.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the July 7-8 summit in Ankara will focus on putting Ukraine in the strongest possible position and developing the alliance’s defense industry. He said NATO is now “extremely strong” and implementing decisions from The Hague.

Zelensky said Russia resumed killing Ukrainians after the partial three-day ceasefire ended, and pressure on Moscow must not weaken.

Ukraine’s 475th Code 9.2 Regiment pushed Russian forces back by up to 15 km on parts of the Zaporizhzhia front. The unit says the advance was enabled by combined drone and artillery strikes, along with armored vehicles adapted to counter UAV threats. Footage shows an assault on Russian positions using armored vehicles, while the counteroffensive operation continues.
FPV pilots from Ukraine’s 24th Brigade spotted a Russian infantry column on the road from Bakhmut to Chasiv Yar and struck it with FPV drones. Brigade editors also found footage filmed from the perspective of a Russian soldier moving inside the same column.
Ukraine’s 1st Company Group of the 801st Special Marine Detachment destroyed a Russian uncrewed surface vessel with a Shrike FPV drone in the Black Sea. The enemy boat was heading to attack one of Odesa’s ports and damage port infrastructure, but was intercepted before reaching the target. Video shows the FPV drone catching the boat and striking its warhead, triggering a powerful explosion.
Ukraine’s 412 Nemesis Brigade using mid-strike drones to scout and destroy Russian air defense targets up to 200 km away. Deputy commander Pavlo Laktionov said every third sortie results in a hit, threatening rear areas and thinning Russian SAM coverage.

Ukrainian drone strikes hit Russian targets near Dzhankoi in occupied Crimea overnight on May 5-6. The attacks targeted an S-400 launcher, with consequences unknown, and 2 mobile fire group vehicles, killing 1 serviceman and wounding 10. The main strike hit Dzhankoi railway station, where 5 personnel were killed, 5 wounded, a locomotive destroyed and several freight cars damaged.
Ukrainian drones struck Orenburg in Russia, about 1,300 km from Ukraine and northwest of Kazakhstan. Explosions were recorded in the area, while the regional governor said there was no damage and no casualties.
Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces hit Russian PRV-16 and P-18 radars in Donetsk region, along with a fuel and lubricant depot, an ammunition depot and temporary deployment points. Operators from the 1st Separate Center worked with the SBS Deep Strike Center, targeting radar systems used for air target altitude tracking, early warning and air defense support.
Overnight, Ukrainian drones attacked the occupied part of the Donetsk region. Locals reported many explosions. A damage assesment is still ongoing.
