Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck 35 Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov over four days, more than 27% of the roughly 120-vessel group, Defense Express said. Fourteen vessels were hit on July 9 alone, a one-day record. The targets included cargo ships and tankers, and the tanker Sanar-17 was completely destroyed. Russia changed vessel traffic procedures in the Kerch Strait after the attacks.
Satellite imagery confirms damage to the Saratov oil refinery, including an isomerization unit and two storage tanks, one of which was completely destroyed. The refinery’s AVT-6 and visbreaking units also appear to remain under repair.
