They found a lift tall enough on a job site in Joliet and had the Illinois State Police escort the lift ot Wilmington. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington will continue seeking a compromise to end the war in Ukraine after a “good, frank” discussion with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Rubio said earlier proposals were unacceptable to Ukraine and would likely be even less acceptable now. He said any peace agreement would require new ideas and concepts that both sides could accept.
