Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps released footage from Operation Vivaldi showing heavy Gryphon bomber drones deploying kamikaze unmanned ground vehicles more than 10 km behind Russian lines. The tactic was developed by fighters of the NC13 strike UGV unit and implemented with support from the 3rd Assault Brigade’s drone forces. The Gryphon is named after Hryhorii Bach, an NC13 machine gunner who went missing during the fighting for Andriivka in 2023.
