Ukraine has 2.5 times fewer interceptors than in 2025, while Russia is launching twice as many ballistic missiles per month. Zelensky says acquiring 5% of the US stockpile would allow Ukraine to get through winter and save lives, while 10% would enable it to intercept all Russian ballistic missiles. He is seeking to buy the interceptors from the US.
