Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the “Army of Robots,” an initiative aimed at accelerating battlefield robotics and reducing risks to soldiers. He says humanoid robots should evacuate wounded troops, deliver ammunition, conduct reconnaissance, clear and lay mines, defend positions and strike targets. The initiative will invest in defense-tech companies, launch R&D projects, test systems with the military and scale solutions that work on the battlefield.
